RPO – Recovery Point Objective. The targeted amount of time in a business continuity plan within which data (files, virtual machines, etc.) can recovered after a disaster or other computer system outage. If an RPO is set to be 15 hours and the last available good copy of data upon an outage is from 13 hours ago, then the RPO target is being met.
