Penny Herscher joins Delphix board

Penny Herscher has joined the board of Delphix, a Silicon Valley data management vendor, to help guide the company through its “next phase of strategic growth”.

The former tech CEO was born and raised in the UK and has managed a number of US companies through to IPO and / or acquisition by others.  She currently sits on the boards of four publicly traded companies and is a prominent advocate for gender equality

Herscher was president and CEO of FirstRain from 2005 to July 2015 and chairman thereafter until July 2017. FirstRain built an unstructured SaaS-based AI and data analytics platform, and was acquired by Ignite Technologies in 2017.

She was president and CEO, also chairman, at electronic design automation firm Simplex from 1996 to 2002, when it was sold to Cadence for $300 million.
