Seidl sidles from Cohesity

Cohesity’s quite new EMEA VP Klaus Seidl has resigned suddenly, days after announcing EMEA business expansion with 100 customers and 100 staff.

Prior to joining the company in November 2017, Seidl was variously VP EMEA Sales at SimpliVity, Palo Alto Networks and Riverbed,.

He was slated to lead Cohesity’s EMEA expansion, doing so with gusto to reach the 100 customer/100 staff levels.

Klaus Seidl

In response to our request for more information, Ross Camp, Cohesity’s VP for Corporate Communications, sent us the following statement:

“Klaus Seidl has stepped down as Cohesity’s vice president of EMEA sales, effective immediately. Cohesity would like to thank Klaus for his contributions. Mark Parrinello, vice president, worldwide sales will lead the region until a replacement is named.”

No clues there as to the whys and wherefores.  Camp added that the company remains committed to partner-only sales.
