FileTek loses president

Anyone seen him?

FileTek president Philip Pascarelli has resigned - or been pushed out. No-one is saying.

The company produces information life cycle management (ILM) and TrustedEdge and ClearviewECM desktop content management software. Pascarelli became president in May, 2007. At that time the founder, chairman and then-CEO Bill Thompson relinquished the CEO job to Bill Loomis, the then-COO.

Pascarelli was recruited from Clearview software where he was president and a board director. Before that he was president and CEO of Breece Hill, a tape automation company. At FileTek his duties were 'general management of the company and oversight of FileTek's indirect and channel sales efforts both domestically and internationally' and being 'in charge of formulating new corporate initiatives through the development of strategic partnerships, targeted acquisitions, and assessing new business opportunities.'

Pascarelli remainedClearVIew's president upon appointment but FileTek acquired it during his term. He has disappeared from FileTek's executive roster webpage but that old faithful, the Google cache, has the old entry in it.

John Toigo's DrunkenData blog spotted Padcarelli's departure.
