Brian Strosser joins reseller

Brian Strosser, NetApp's director for US public-sector channels and emerging markets, has left and joined reseller DLT Solutions as its VP for enterprise data management.

He runs a new division that DLT has set up which brings together information assurance, field engineering and customer service.

Rick Marcotte, president and CEO of DLT Solutions, said: "The addition of Brian Strosser as a vice president and the launch of this new division is just the first of many new initiatives we have planned. Our customers' data protection and management needs - storage, security, and engineering support - are expanding and it is vital we are positioned to meet that demand. Bringing together the sales, support and services that we provide under a single, strong leader lays the groundwork to significantly grow this segment of our business."

DLT Solutions was started up in 1991 and resells products from Autodesk, NetApp, Oracle, Quantum, Quest Software, Red Hat and Symantec.

NetApp's global channel head, Leonard Iventosch, left the company  abruptly on July 30th.
