60GB model
Microsoft has introduced a mid-range Xbox 360 with a 60GB hard drive, triple the storage of its entry level model. The entry-level 20GB model has had its price cut to $299.99, a fall of $50.
The Nintendo Wiii and 20GB Xbox 360 are now closer in price. The new 60GB Xbox 360 costs $349.99. The top-end Xbox 360 Elite model has a 120GB hard drive and stays at $449.99.
Sony has no plans to reduce PS3 prices and industry leader Nintendo has no price cutting plans of its own.
