11 June 2008: Overland Storage has appointed Dean Strutton as channel account manager for the UK.

In his new role, Strutton will be responsible for building and strengthening Overland’s managed partner business across the region.

Strutton joins Overland from IT storage distributor CMS Peripherals Ltd., where he built a successful channel business with monthly £multi-million revenues. He brings with him a wealth of experience working with direct market resellers, including Systemax and Insight.

Commenting on the new appointment, David Spate, sales director for the Northern EMEA region at Overland Storage said: “As we only sell through the channel, ensuring we respond to the needs of our partners and develop strong relationships is key. Dean’s experience in working with UK resellers makes him ideally placed to drive and build this part of our business. We look forward to welcoming him to the team.”
