Watch out consumer storage; big daddy's coming

The European Commission has approved EMC's acquisition of Iomega. There are no conditions.

That's it then. We can now watch EMC's attack on the consumer market, mark two, unfold, with Jonathan Huberman leading the charge.

EMC should 'zip' along 'rev'ving up the market. This writer's hunch is that it is going to be a blast.
