Fortune says EMC making a fortune

14th most profitable tech company
Fortune magazine rates EMC as the 14th most profitable technology company.
The company recorded excellent results in its last earnings statement. Fortune mentions a 36 percent profit rise and says the Iomega acquisition should help it grow in the consumer and SMB markets.
Dell is at number ten in the ranking, Apple at number eight, HP at fourth, Cisco number three, IBM second and Microsoft numero uno.
No other storage companies were in the top twenty.
