Entry-Level Windows-Based File Virtualization Solution Priced at Under $15,000

ORLANDO, FLA. – April 7, 2008 – Attune Systems, Inc., a provider of enterprise-class file virtualization solutions, today announced the Maestro File Manager-Entry System (ES), a low-cost file virtualization solution priced at under $15,000.

Extending the Maestro family, the new entry solution provides a comprehensive assessment of current storage resources through a reporting and search engine combined with pushbutton global namespace creation, all without the use of agents.

“We offer our customers the option to learn what they do not know about their existing environments, and we help them identify potential storage savings based on planning for tiering, consolidation and deduplication projects,” said Jill Kyte, vice president of marketing and business development for Attune Systems. “Our entry solution based on our latest file virtualization technology allows organizations to take advantage of file virtualization in a gradual way through an out-of-band device. By monitoring and analyzing their Windows-based storage infrastructure, Maestro File Manager-ES reports on potential unauthorized or duplicate files, identifies stranded capacity across storage resources, and monitors storage growth trends over time.”

Maestro File Manager ES supports user-friendly features such as pushbutton namespace creation and pre-built reports in addition to a flexible report generator. It also monitors and alerts on the storage environment, and assists in consolidation, tiering and global namespace planning. MFM-ES allows users to copy, move, or delete files based on complex search criteria, and supports simple migration projects.

Pricing and Availability

Maestro File Manager-ES, has an aggressive MSRP starting at $14,995, and it becomes available in May 2008.
