LSI Corporation, today honored three suppliers with its Best-In-Class Supplier Award and recognised 13 other suppliers for their commitment to driving operational excellence in the LSI supply chain.

“As both a semiconductor and storage systems provider, we understand and appreciate the value a strong supplier can bring to the success of LSI and, more importantly, our customers,” said Don Alvine, vice president and chief procurement officer at LSI. “These suppliers are critical in helping LSI realise efficiencies and continuously improve execution across our operations.”

The businesses were evaluated on multiple criteria including technology, responsiveness and cost in addition to quality and supply assurance. The winners of the LSI Best-In-Class Supplier Award, which recognises leadership across specific areas, are:

Now in its fifth year, the LSI Strategic Supplier Executive Conference was held this week in San Jose, Calif., inviting representatives from each supplier to thank them for their continuous improvement in providing materials and services. LSI business leaders update suppliers on strategy and industry trends with the goal of creating additional partnership opportunities for the coming year.
