Brocade®, the leader in networked storage solutions that help enterprises connect and manage their information, has announced that COMPAREX, a specialist data centre infrastructure solutions provider, has qualified as the first pan-European partner for its expanded Qualified Support Partner (QSP) programme. 

Brocade’s QSP programme defines new, demanding criteria for the certification of Brocade service-partners and creates new quality standards that are designed to address the growing complexity of the Storage Area Networking (SAN) and File Area Networking (FAN) solutions available today.  The services offered under this programme have been developed specifically for the needs of Enterprise customers (with heterogeneous environments) and focus on the complete lifecycle of its SAN- and FAN components; as such, Brocade is committed to working only with highly qualified and competent partners. 

As the first partner of Brocade’s QSP partners in Europe, COMPAREX has successfully passed the new expanded QSP-certification and further wants to expand its engagement in this market.  With operations across Europe, COMPAREX has been working in the data centre market since 1992, and has a vast amount of experience with products and services in the connectivity and SAN markets, as well respective partner certifications from other leading manufacturers.  In Germany, for example, over 50 organisations with more than 1,000 Directors/switches and over 50,000 SAN-Ports between them, rely on the services COMPAREX deliver to maintain efficient data centre operations. 

With the new QSP-program, all Brocade’s product lines, including McDATA solutions, can now be supported at a highly technical level and by means of uniform service-processes.
