Leopard to get encrypted spots
According to a CNET item Apple's Leopard MacOS version is getting full disk encryption developed for it.
PGP Corporation is the developer and already has a Windows full disk encryption product. Leopard has a home directory encryption feature but no more than that.
MacBook users will be potentially very glad to have the PGP product as it will radically strengthen the security of data on the product's hard drive.
There is no shipping date but we can reasonably assume sometime in the second half of this year.
